Egypt has been involved with monitoring forced displacement in Africa and the Middle East, assisting the internally displaced, refugees and asylum seekers from in and outside the continent.
The GoE through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the CAIRO INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION, PEACEKEEPING AND PEACEBUILDING (CCCPA) are engaging with the UN and the AU to establish more integrated and sustainable strategies that address the root causes of conflict and instability.
Additionally, UN agencies, UNHCR and WFP are collaborating closely within the Regional Refugee & Resilience Plan (3RP) in the design and implementation of support activities to registered refugees in Egypt.
